Mom and Dad are given boxes full of stuff (who cares about the stuff??) and I get to eat a bunch of wrapping paper.

I got to go to a Potluck lunch and Round Robin present party at Mom's work. I picked her present (a bottle of Bailey's) but someone stole it. Which was sad because I was having fun licking the box. At least I got some antlers!

Well, gotta get ready to party like it's 2009!

I Want A Hula-Hoop!!

So many of you have been asking me what I want for Christmas.
So, in response I say...
WHAT THE HECK IS CHRISTMAS??
oh... wait. Mom says just to let you all know what things I would like to play with.
And then, in one month, I can find out what Christmas is.
So, here goes...

I should start with the practical stuff...
Clothes: (at least 12 months - maybe 18 months to be safe)
(Pajamas, Onesies, Socks, Overalls, Pants, Sweaters)
Pacifiers: (6 months +)
(Made by Mam! - like the one in the picture above)
Bottles + Nipples:
(Avent, over 10 ounces, nipples 6 months)
Formula:
(Similac Advanced)
Diapers:
(Pampers, size 3 or bigger)
Washrags and Burp Cloths
Cool umbrella stroller
Sheets for my crib
A new, big boy car seat!! I am getting to big for my little boy one!

OK, so now for some fun stuff...

Balls
Placing & Removing Toys
Toys that sing, light up or play music
I tried shopping online at www.toysrus.com but was so overwhelmed by the selection, Mom asked Dad if he had given me Kool-Aid!!!
A piano (or electric keyboard) so Mommy can play songs for us to sing to. (And I can eventually learn to read music and play too!!)
Books for Mom and Dad to read to me at bed time.
Books that read a loud to me all by them selves!

This is all I could think of - but I am sure there are so many things I have nbot thought about that you could think of!

I Can't See Me Lovin' Nobody But You

So, I have been experimenting this "eating" thing. So far, in my studies, I have experienced Pears, Apples, Bananas, Rice Cereal and as evidenced in the photgraph above; avacado.
Today, I have carrots & potatoes on the agenda.
My hypothesis thus far is;
YUM!
I will keep you updated on my progress.


Mom spent some time waving that flash-box she calls a camera in my face this weekend.
I do of course smile, laugh and talk while she is taking pictures, but I really don't enjoy the attention...
Yeah right, who am I kidding - this boy loves to ham it up for his fans.

I spent some time on my tummy this weekend as well. I spoke with some really cute baby who looked like me but backwards, and he lives in the mirror. I scooted around a little as well, but I couldn't get too far. Just far enough to fall off of my blanket. Hmmm.... it's going to be a challenge to get mobile.

I have had a cold this weekend. At first it was no big deal, I was just leaking a little from my nose. Then the leaking increased and Mom & Dad started trying to suck out my brain!! But the second day, and now the third day and I am still leaking! You don't think it's important do it? It's not brain lubricant or anything I hope!!

Despite, the fluid loss from my nose - I have been in a good mood. I have been drooly and happy and learning new things everyday. I got to visit with Sarah & Brian AND my Jedo, and uncles Chris & Danny.

I had some poptart yesterday.

Hey Laaadiez!

My friend Sarah is teaching me all about MTV Jamz today. I get to hang out at her house today & tomorrow.

She keeps snapping candid pics of me & emailing them to Mom. How am I ever going to have secrets if everyone keeps photo-documenting every moment of my life. Sheesh.

It sure is tough to be so handsome and have all the ladiez acting all crazy over me.

I think the guys on MTV know how I feel.

They are surrounded by lots of the ladiez - but my lady-friends wear more clothes.

Hi friends!
I am home!!! Thank you Elmo! :)
It has been nice to have all my stuff around again. My toys were quite lonely without me!
We have been having a good ole time since getting back.



We went to visit some of Dad's friends, and there was a cute girl at their house. Her name is Zoie, she's a little younger than me, and she has pretty black hair. I'll have to keep an eye on her. If she is anything like her dad, she'll probably be trouble though.

Shopping Spree

Mom, Auntie Molly and I went shopping on Friday. It was mostly clothes for me - which is the way it should be if you ask me! I got 2 sleepy-time onesies - little feet covers included. One of them is dinosaurs (rawrrrr!) and the other has lots of cars (vroom!) I got some regular onesies that Auntie Molly picked out - very cute!

Mom picked up a few things that were too small - so Dad came back with us on Saturday to exchange the little baby clothes for big baby clothes. He found the flyest outfit at Steve and Barry's for me... It is a green polo shirt with little blue sail boats on it - but it's a onesie so it has little shorts built in! I will try it on and model it for ya'll. Chicks will go crazy when I go out in it!

Mom also bought some more plain white ones, and drew some Jonah-worthy stuff on them.

We went by the house on Saturday as well. I had to check on my dog and cat - but BOY! was it hot. We STILL don't have power - I cant wait to get back to my house and all the toys that are there that I cant bring with me to Mimi's.

Miss you all - since I haven't been able to see anyone but Mom, Dad and everyone at Mimi's house lately. Hope to see you soon!!

I survived Hurricane Ike!

Now I'm sleepy and I cant wait until our power comes back!

Our only injuries were a little bruised ego when I fell off the couch, which is not related to the high winds.

Mimi has been sweet enough to let us stay in her A/C! Which is cool except my cousin Harry has tried to sit on me when I am in Mom's lap TWICE!! (It was a close call - Mom swooped in at the last minute with a chin rub that led to the arm of the chair) **whew**

I'm cool now - hope you are too!

Working on my ninja skillz -yo.
So far I have mastered zen-sleep & meditation. My body tension is genetically on the loose side - so I am having a harder time with the kicks & swords.

I am twelve weeks old today - for those of you keeping count! :)
Last night - my ferret brother Chance came to visit and cuddle with me & Mom while we were sleeping. Which was cool until he love-nibbled Mom and got thrown back into the cage he snuck out of. Oh well, at least the cat can cuddle with us without chewing on anyone.

Happy Labor Day!

This week has ben CRAZY!! I have spent a lot of time walking around in circles around the pool at Mimi's house. Who knew how fun that could be. Don't fall over - but we even went the opposite direction a few times!!!!!! A few more weeks and I can get IN the pool with everyone. My baby-vocab is slow expanding. I am working on confusing Mom & Dad - I speak mostly chinese - but before they can look it up in a dictionary I switch to pig latin!! Haha!! (I think Mom can speak pig-latin though. Sometimes she understands exactly what I want!!)

I got some cool new PJ's last weekend. They are brown with a picture of a guitar on the front and it says "Rock and Roll" on the back! Cause I wanna rock and roll all night!! And party everyday!! Come on feel the noise!! Hello Houston! Woo! Oh yeah and I got a onesie with a guitar on it.

Last night my Uncle Chris played a few riffs for me at Jedo's house. It was cool, but he wouldn't let me play. Aah well, at least I got to watch Pirates of the Carribean and Mom and I played kissy face.

Gotta go fuss a little. Keep Mom & Dad on their toes.

There's a sock on my head!

There's a sock on my head! And I'm ten weeks old. Today I wore a fishin' shirt! But I was more in a drag racing mood. I have been working on my leg control, getting ready for the clutch and gas pedals. Have a good weekend!

Big Fish

Mom & I went to see Dr John on Friday.
It was my 9week Birthday
I weigh 13lbs & 4oz
I am 22.5 inches tall
My head is 16 inches around.
I don't even fit in most 3 month old clothes anymore!!



I have been very busy- My Mimi "Bob" took me to see Space Chimps.
I was not impressed, so I took advantage of the opportunity to grab a few winks.
Mimi is out of town now - so I have been spending time with my aunt Katherine. (& My grandpa George & Natalia) Katherine has been teaching me all kinds of cool things!

I even got to see my grandma Kay & Eric this past weekend!!!! I am a very spoiled and lucky boy to have all this awesome family!!


We went to see my Jedo on Sunday.
I woke up in a funk on Sunday, and was grumpy for the whole visit.
But I snuck in a few smiles just for him!!

I have been gathering nick names.
Collecting them like crazy, so I thought I would share a few:
"Lizard Boy" - this one is for when I use my crazy lizard tongue to try and catch flies.
"Baby Goo" or "Goo Bear" - this one is Mom's fave. It's what she calls me when I am trying to talk to her.
"Baby Ninja" - this one is for when I am using my crazy mad mixed baby martial arts.
"Jonah Bear" - this one is just cute. (Bleh - girls!)

This 1st week without Mom has been busy! Mimi has had me doing all kinds of stuff! We went shopping, eating, museuming and we even went and saw dad on his bday! Phew! Im tired!

Pressies, Facial Hair & Kisses

My great Aunt Sally sent me a parcel full of awesome presesies she MADE for me.
There was a teddy bear, a cardigan with matching booties & a beautiful alphabet quilt. Here's a picture of me dancing on the quilt with the teddy & sweater.



Mom and I spent the night at Mimi's house on Monday. It had been so long since she had seen me that she was suprised by my facial hair. I think I look dashing.



Mom has to go back to work next Monday - so she keeps kissing me. She says she will miss me so much, but I think I will be having so much fun at Mimi's that she won't have to worry about me at all!!
